Welcome to the Foundation School Guide. You can navigate through the Foundation Schools using the interactive deanery map on the right. Hover over the part of the country you're interested in and you'll see the name displayed on the left. If there's more than one Foundation School in that area (e.g. London) click on it and you'll be directed towards another interactive map showing you the schools.

Once you're at the school page you'll see three main bodies of information: the first chunk is written by us in collaboration with junior doctors who've lived and worked in the relevant Foundation School. Following that you'll see some blurb written by the Foundation Schools themselves. Finally, you'll see a link to click on hospital information: this is a list of all the hospitals in that Foundation School with a little spiel on what they're like and what their accomodation for FY1s has on offer.

If you want to find out more about applying or are bored of looking at maps then you can click on the flip toolbar above to flick through some articles you might find useful. Click on the fs guide button and you'll be confronted with a whole new toolbar full of guidey goodness.
